Toto Lotto Traditional Greek Taverna is right in the centre of the village next to the church of Agios Dimitris (Saint Dimirti) Christos and his parents have been serving up fresh local Cretan food for over 20 years. Everyday you can find a wide selection of local dishes, This is also a great place to eat “Meze” style. Meze is the equivalent of the spanish “Tapas” lots of small dishes where everybody shares. Dishes are priced from as little as 4-5 euros.

Fantastic place - such a lovely setting right in the heart of the village and next to a beautiful church. Went here 3 times in a week and every time was spot on. Delicious and fresh and plentiful. The family that run this place are so friendly and nothing was ever any trouble. Such a warm welcome and they always had a smile waiting for you. Sophia the mother does all the cooking and Christos serves all the food. With the traditional greek music playing in the background and the lovely atmosphere - you certainly get lost in the old Greek way of life. Cannot recommend this place enough. There are also a few other nice places we found to eat in the village so make sure you head up there and stay away from the noisy beach road. Hope we can make it here again this year. .

we ate here a few nights of our holiday christos was really friendly and made us feel very welcome the food was great also
