Malia Live is one of Malia's most established events running since back in 2008. Sundays in Malia has been about Malia Live @ Candy Club for many years but this year they are shaking things up. This Malia event icon is now taking place every Wednesday.
Year upon year Candy Club brings an amazing mixture of artists over to the island and this year is looking no different. With acts such as Nathan Dawe, Yungen, Mostack, Big Shaq, Not3s and Ramz all confirmed so far, this summer is set to be another massive year for this special event at Candy Club.
The first ever Malia Live took place in August 2008 with Skepta headlining. Since then huge artists like Stormzy and Tine Tempah have graced the stage making this one of the hottest stages to get on. Proud to host upcoming artists many times before they hit the big time Candy Club and Malia Live has become a major career stepping stone for so many acts.
Babis Papazoglou the owner of Candy Club has grown this pioneering brand from strength to strength each year. Proud to spark the live performance market off in Malia all them years ago. “I always had the vision of top UK artists coming to Malia just as they were in other resorts, I really didn’t want to see Malia left behind. So creating the Malia Live brand has helped establish Malia itself on the map as not just a great holiday destination but a resort to see quality artists performing at amazing venues"
As it’s the 10th year anniversary for Candy Club Babis has got many surprises in store. Malia Live will run all the way until the second week in September so be sure to know a few more big names will be announced soon and look out for some secret guests too.
